Under the leadership of District Director PBGEN RODEL A PASTOR, the MataPatPaMuLaPa Police Stations recorded a significant accomplishment in the Southern Police District’s continuing campaign against illegal gambling, conducting 216 operations that resulted in the arrest of 545 suspects and the confiscation of ₱123,006.00 in bet money used in various illegal gambling activities from September 7, 2024 to October 7, 2026.
The operations were conducted as part of the SPD’s intensified anti-criminality campaign through Oplan Galugad, foot patrols, and police patrols in various areas within Southern Metro Manila.
The accomplishment highlights the collective efforts of the SPD police stations under the leadership of PBGEN PASTOR, particularly in strengthening police visibility, addressing illegal activities, and maintaining peace and order within the communities.
“The fight against illegal gambling requires a strong police presence, vigilance, and partnership with our communities. I commend our police stations and our force multipliers for their dedication and valuable contributions to these operations. This accomplishment is a strong testament to what we can achieve through teamwork and partnership during my first month as District Director of the Southern Police District.”
PBGEN PASTOR emphasized that the active support of the community stakeholders has been instrumental in strengthening police operations, particularly in identifying and addressing illegal activities within their respective communities. Under his leadership, the SPD remains committed to sustaining and intensifying its campaign against illegal gambling and other forms of criminality, while strengthening partnerships with local government units and communities toward a safer, more peaceful, and secure Southern Metro Manila.
